Learning On The Land

We will hike along the Walla Walla River in Oregon exploring insect activity of late spring. We will be hiking along gravel or dirt trails along rolling terrain- bring good hiking shoes, water, and dress suitably for the weather. There may be snakes. You may wish to bring a magnifying glass if you have one. Open to participants of all ages, there is a $10 program fee, free to children under 12 when accompanied by an adult. Registration is required as space is limited. We meet at 9am to carpool from the municipal lot behind Olive restaurant, accessible from Rose St. between 2nd Ave. and Colville St. If meeting at Harris Park, call to coordinate.
