Art Raffle

Each year Blue Mountain Land Trust raffles donated art work as a fundraiser for the organization. This year the drawing will be held at noon at the Farmers Market, October 23, 2010. Winners will be notified even if not present.

An oil on canvas painting of Pikes Peak in the Blue Mountains of Southeast Washington, has been donated by Walla Walla artist James McNamara. James specializes in Blue Mountain Landscapes.  Many Waters

Many Waters is an acrylic on canvas donated by Fr. Bruno Segatta. Fr. Segatta is a citizen of Italy but visits the Walla Walla area frequently and displays his art work at Va Piano Winery in Walla Walla. Vist Va Piano on JB George Road to see more of his work.

This framed photograph is by Ruwan Randeniya. Ruwan, a graduate student at Walla Walla University, is an avid nature photographer.  Pioneer Park Bandstand

This watercolor painting of one of Walla Walla's iconic symbol is done by local artist Joyce Anderson. Joyce started her painting career after she and her husband moved to Walla Walla in 1978. In addition to being accepted into regional juried art shows she has also had several art exhibitions in the northwest and private clients for commision work.  The Best Bicycle Ride

This acrylic is done by local artist Bonnie Close. Bonnie is an avid bicycle rider. This painting depicts one of her favorite rides in the Walla Walla area. Bonnie is also an asparagus farmer. Her farm is located south of Walla Walla off the Old Milton-Freewater Highway.

 
 Thunder in the Blues

This acrylic painting is a view of the Blue Mountains from the site of one of the Conservation Easements held by MBLT. The artist, Ann Dwonch, is a new painter on the Walla Walla scene. Ann is a registered nurse and an avid gardener.

 
 The Scenic Drive

18 1/4" x 12 1/4"
Depicting the Blue Mountains east of Walla Walla, this water color painting by Roy Anderson was just finished May 27, 2010. Roy is a fly-fishing water color artist who paints still life, portrait, wildlife, and landscape painting for public exhibitions and private collections. He has lived in Walla Walla for 40 years and is retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
